Terms and Conditions
Below is the English version of race rules and participation terms for Rentlio Zadar Night Run.
ARTICLE 1. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION / GENERAL RULES
- By submitting an application, participants confirm they compete at their own responsibility and are familiar with race rules and potential risks.
- By applying, participants waive the possibility of transferring liability to the race organizer toward participants or third parties.
- The organizer is not responsible for lost or stolen participant belongings during the event.
- All participants must have valid health insurance.
ARTICLE 2. RACE CATEGORIES
- Runners may compete in 5 km, 10 km or 21 km (half marathon).
- Adults may participate in all races.
- Minors may participate only with parent or guardian consent.
ARTICLE 4. APPLICATION AND REGISTRATION PROCESS
- Participants apply via the official race website: www.zadarnight.run.
- Registration is valid only when both application and entry fee payment are completed before the deadline.
- If a participant applies but does not pay by the deadline, registration is not valid.
- If a runner pays but cannot attend for justified reasons (illness, etc.), the fee can be transferred to the next year in agreement with the organizer.
- If the race is canceled due to objective unforeseen circumstances, a new race date will be defined.
- If the race is canceled for objective reasons, entry fee refunds are not possible and paid entries remain valid for the new date.
- If the race is canceled for non-objective reasons, the organizer must refund entry fees to runners who do not want to participate in the rescheduled race.
ARTICLE 5. TIME MEASUREMENT
- Timing starts with the official start signal and ends when crossing the finish line.
- Official timing is provided by Pro Time and measured with chips.
- Half marathon time limit is 2 h 30 min.
- Other races do not have a time limit.
ARTICLE 6. DISQUALIFICATION RULES
- Failure to follow race rules and regulations.
- Missing visible race bib.
- Course cutting.
- Finishing after the defined time limit.
ARTICLE 7. COMPLAINTS AND APPEALS
- All complaints and appeals must be submitted to the organizer in writing no later than 24 hours after race completion.
- The organizer must respond within 2 days after receiving the complaint or appeal.
ARTICLE 8. MEDIA CONSENT
- By registering, participants agree that photo and video materials recorded during the event may be publicly displayed and used for promotional purposes.
- The organizer retains all rights to use, copy and distribute recorded photo and video materials.
