ARTICLE 1. PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS IN THE RACE/GENERAL RULES

All participants, by registering, expressly agree to compete at their own risk and are aware of the race rules, which they will adhere to for their personal safety and the safety of other participants and organizers.
They acknowledge the possible risks involved in this competition.By registering, participants waive the possibility of transferring responsibility to the race organizer, whether towards other participants or third parties.
The organizer is not responsible for lost or stolen items of participants during the competition.
All participants competing in the race must have health insurance.

ARTICLE 2. RACE CATEGORIES

Runners can compete in 4 races: 2.5km, 5km, 10km, or 21km (half marathon).
Only adults are eligible to participate in the races.Minors may participate with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

ARTICLE 4. APPLICATION AND REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

Participants apply for the race through the official race website: www.zadarnight.run.
Applications have a specified deadline on the race website.
The registration is considered valid when the participant SUBMITS the application and PAYS the ENTRY FEE by the deadline set by the race organizer. If a participant applies but does not pay the entry fee by the organizer's specified date, the application is not valid! In case a runner pays the entry fee but is legitimately unable to attend the race (due to illness, etc.), the entry fee will be transferred to the race in the following year, in agreement with the organizer. In the event of race cancellation by the organizer due to unforeseen reasons (objective circumstances), a new race date will be determined. If the race is canceled for objective reasons, a refund of the entry fee is not possible, and the paid entry fee is valid for the new race date.In the event of race cancellation for non-objective reasons, the organizer is obliged to refund the entry fee to all runners who do not wish to participate in the rescheduled race.

ARTICLE 5. TIME MEASUREMENT

Timing starts with the race signal and stops when crossing the finish line.
The official timekeeper is the company Pro Time, and timing is done using chips.The time limit for the half marathon is 2 hours and 30 minutes.Other races have no time limit.

ARTICLE 6. DISQUALIFICATION RULES

Non-compliance, ignoring, or denying competition rules and regulations.
Failure to display the race number. Shortening the course. Finishing after the set limit.

ARTICLE 7. OBJECTIONS AND APPEALS

All objections and appeals must be submitted to the race organizer in writing after the competition and no later than 24 hours after the race ends. The organizer is obliged to respond to the objection/appeal within 2 days of receiving it.

ARTICLE 8. AGREEMENT ON MEDIA FREEDOM

By registering for the competition, participants agree that all recorded film and photographic material may be publicly displayed for promotional purposes of the race.The competition organizer reserves all rights to use, copy, and distribute all recorded video and photo material.
